  • Carrie Resch is a 22-year resident of the Wayne Central School District. She has three children attending Wayne Central. Carrie has served on the Wayne Central Board of Education for three years and is currently serving a second-year term as the 2nd Vice President for the Four County School Board Association. Carrie is a New York State Veterinary Technician/Supervisor/AAHA Coordinator at Clark Animal Care Center in Penfield, where she has worked for over 25 years. Carrie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences and an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Medaille College. In addition, she earned an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Monroe Community College. Prior to working at Clark Animal Care, Carrie was a teacher in a preschool class at Toddler’s Workshop from 1994-1997. She is a foster for three local animal adoption agencies.

    Daniel J. Wildey is a 14-year resident of Wayne Central School District. He has three children attending Wayne schools. Currently, Daniel is an Engineering Manager at IEC Electronics in Newark, NY. He graduated from Newark High School and received a Drafting and CAD certificate from Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES. In addition, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Daniel is a Registered Boy Scout Leader, an Ontario Wild Lacrosse Coach, current youth leader for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Chapter Secretary of the Volvo Club of America.

  • Kate Baranek is a 12-year resident of the Wayne Central School District. Kate and her husband Joe have four school-aged children attending Wayne Central schools. Kate previously was a substitute teacher for Wayne Central and currently works as a Confidential Clerk for the town of Ontario. Kate served on the Penfield United Methodist Preschool board. Over the past six years, she has been an active member of the Wayne Primary and Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), starting as a secretary and eventually becoming President. Kate also participated in committees such as the Wayne Primary Principal Hiring Committee, the Wayne Middle School Building Planning Committee and is currently on the Strategic Planning Committee. Kate is a Fairport High School graduate. 

  • Kelly Corey is a 15-year resident of the Wayne Central School District. Kelly and her husband Ron of 13 years have two school aged children. She earned a Business Administration Degree from Cayuga Community College. In addition, Kelly is a New York State licensed notary.

  • Steve Gallaher is a 47-year resident of the Wayne Central School District and a 1993 graduate of Wayne Central. He has served on the Wayne Central Board of Education for six years. He has three children, two currently attending Wayne Central schools and one graduate of Wayne Central. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve while earning an Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology from SUNY College of Technology at Delhi. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. Steve is currently serving as president of Gallaher Construction, and is on the board of directors for the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department.

  • Dennis N. Landry is a 30-year resident of the Wayne Central School District. His wife is a district bus driver, and his daughter and son-in-law teach at the high school. Dennis has three grandchildren attending Wayne Central Schools. Dennis worked in the automotive industry before retiring eight years ago. Dennis is a substitute teacher for Wayne Central, a volunteer firefighter and board member for the Lincoln Fire Department, and the Town of Walworth’s Planning Board chair. He has also been a member of the Walworth Lions Club for over 10 years. Dennis served on the Board of Education for eight years and achieved Level 3 Board Mastery from the New York State School Board Association. Dennis attended accredited management classes and a trade school for collision repairs. Dennis is a graduate of the Webster Central School District.

  • Amy Miller is an 18-year Wayne Central School District resident and a Wayne Central alumnus. Her husband works for the Wayne Central School District and is also a Wayne alumnus. Amy has two preschool-aged children. Currently, Amy is a pediatric nurse for Pittsford Pediatrics. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in biology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from St. John Fisher College. Amy is a volunteer for St. John Fisher College’s First Generation Scholarship program and also volunteers for the American Cancer Society. In addition, Amy has tutored elementary school students for the Rochester City School District.

  • Jennifer Schoene has been a resident of Ontario, NY, in the Wayne Central School District for 22 years. She has worked as a caregiver for the elderly and has been married to her husband, Michael, for 21 years. They have two children: one is a graduate of Wayne Central School District, and the other is currently a junior in high school. Jennifer has volunteered for the District since 2011 through the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and other school-related groups. Additionally, she served as a member of the Wayne Central Board of Education from 2018 to 2024. 

  • Andrew Whitaker is a resident of Ontario, NY, and has lived in the Wayne Central School District for 10 years. He and his wife, Dawn, have five children attending Wayne schools. Andrew holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Monroe Community College. His professional background includes serving as an EMT with the Union Hill Fire Department, as a DARE Officer, and as a Community Service Officer for four years. He is a former member of the Union Hill Fire Department.
