Volunteering in Our Schools
The Wayne Central School District welcomes and encourages volunteers to donate their time and energy in support of our instructional programs and extracurricular activities. Volunteers play a vital role in our school community, and their efforts are greatly appreciated.
Who Needs to Apply?
All individuals who wish to volunteer must complete the Volunteer Application. This includes, but is not limited to, parents, guardians, community members, classroom activities, field trips, and special events.
Currently employed Wayne Central School District staff members are pre-approved as volunteers and do not need to complete a Volunteer Application as a function of their ongoing employment.
Apply Early
If you are interested in volunteering, we strongly encourage you to complete the application as early as possible to ensure eligibility for upcoming opportunities.
How to Apply
All volunteers must complete the online Volunteer Application through Frontline Education. From the Categories menu listed select Volunteers. The application portal also includes current district employment opportunities.
Approval Process
Applications must be submitted and approved before a volunteer can serve. Once approved, you will receive an official approval letter valid for the current school year. Volunteer approval must be renewed annually.
