Board Goals

1. Board Development: The Board commits to building an environment of mutual respect, trust, open communication, and professionalism within itself and with other stakeholders while focusing on the District's strategic plan and the best interests of our students at all times through continued involvement in professional development and establishing and adhering to agreed-upon norms and policies around expected board conduct.

2. Budget Development, Support, and Communication: Oversee and adopt a fiscally responsible annual budget that supports student learning and aligns with the District's strategic priorities. The Board will provide the community with clear, timely, and transparent information and the purpose, priorities, and benefits to the community using a variety of means.

3. Advocacy: The Board will explore opportunities to advocate for legislation and public policy that supports the District by engaging with local, state and federal legislators
