QUALIFYING SERIOUSLY DISABLED VETERANS
FULL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Education of Wayne Central School District, Wayne County, New York, that there will be a public hearing on the proposed qualifying seriously disable
veterans taxation and special district charges exemption.

New York Real Property Tax Law (“RPTL”) Section 458-a(11) authorizes school districts to adopt a resolution providing that the primary residence of any seriously disabled veteran shall be fully exempt
from taxation and special district charges, assessments and special ad valorem levies, so long as certain eligibility requirements are met.

The public hearing will be held in the District Office Conference Room, 6200 Ontario Center Road, Ontario Center, New York on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6:30 pm local time. District residents are
invited to submit comments in person.
