Dear Class of 2027 and Parents,

The Wayne Central High School Yearbook staff would like to take this opportunity to update you on the process of getting your senior portraits and making sure they appear in next year’s yearbook.

When ordering your SENIOR PORTRAITS, please adhere to the following guidelines when selecting the shot you would like included in the 2027 yearbook:

• Please email a digital file to:  HSYearbook@waynecsd.org
  (ALL FILES SHOULD BE NAMED: Last Name_ First Name, (ex: Smith_John.jpeg)
• Pictures must be in color
• Files should be good quality. Please do NOT send blurry or dark pictures and/or pictures with filters.
• Digital pictures (no scanned images)
• NO inappropriate props are allowed.
• Hands and outdoor shots ARE acceptable.
• Please realize that full body pictures will be small and details will be lost.
• If you are a professional photographer, files should be 2” x 2.5” @300 dpi
• If you are not a professional photographer, please submit the original picture. We have had issues where files are too small and grainy.
• Pictures must be portrait view NOT landscape view.

The deadline for submission of senior portraits to the yearbook office is Friday, November 20th. This deadline is extremely rigid. If the yearbook has NOT received your senior portrait by this date, we will not guarantee that your portrait will appear in the yearbook. Most Most likely, your photographer will arrange for the pictures to be emailed to HSYearbook@waynecsd.org starting in September.

Yearbook Disclaimer: 

This is a student publication. Although we will make every attempt to make this an accurate account of the year, some errors are bound to occur. The public must realize that the yearbook is the product of a student club. Many of the students have no prior experience with journalism, writing or design and learn as they create the publication. This is not an adult product; it is a yearbook created between the months of September - April by teenagers for a teenage audience. Again, if any of the above is not submitted by November 20th , we will not guarantee that it will appear in the yearbook.
