Board Goals 2025-2026

    1. Raise our graduation rate to a minimum of 95% for all students. As a board, we will provide all necessary resources to our Superintendent and Administrators, financial or otherwise, to achieve the goal. We will request quarterly check-ins to monitor progress and assign resources as needed to achieve our goal.

    1. The Board of Education is committed to fostering a positive and focused learning environment through full support of the newly implemented Use of Internet-Enabled Devices During the School Day law. We will ensure its effective implementation by engaging the community, supporting school administration, and maintaining oversight through regular check-ins and ongoing policy review.

    1. The Board of Education is committed to bringing UPK in-house at Wayne Central as early as the 2026/2027 school year or as early as is feasible and responsible. As a board, we will provide all necessary resources to our Superintendent and Administrators, financial or otherwise, to achieve this goal. We will request quarterly updates to monitor progress and assign resources as needed to achieve our goal. We will seek to ensure all available grant money or available financial aid resources are utilized to keep costs at a minimum to the district. We will ensure parents and caregivers are provided with information they need to make the best-informed choices for their families.
