Digital Dangers

FBI Buffalo and Wayne Central School District Partner to Present “Digital Dangers” Online Safety Event

The Wayne Central School District is partnering with the FBI Buffalo Field Office to present Digital Dangers, an important online safety presentation designed for parents, guardians, and educators. The event will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wayne Central High School.

Digital Dangers will address one of today’s most urgent issues — how seemingly harmless online interactions can turn into manipulation, exploitation, or even violence targeting youth. Participants will gain valuable insight into recognizing warning signs and preventing digital threats that can impact children and teens.

Key topics will include:

  • Online exploitation and sextortion

  • Violent online groups and recruitment tactics

  • Resources for parents and educators

This presentation is intended for adults only and is not suitable for children.

Registration is required to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
